In the north, our entire range of photo opportunities changes in the winter. It is hard to look out the window without seeing some new abstract form or stark landscape that "must" be photographed. Nice pics. By the way, I lived in New Orleans for several years and worked outdoors. Now I live in Maine with real winters. Those few days a year in New Orleans that approached freezing were by far more uncomfortable than any winter day here in Maine. The dampness just goes through you down South. I feel for you. It must be interesting for a southern photographer to suddenly have the chance to photograph the unlimited possibilities in ice.
