Thanks for sharing such a nifty technique. I actually tried it … and it worked! Well, not really as great as I would have wanted, but I was able to significantly minimize camera shake. Practice, practice, practice!

Hi Andrew – I have just found your website and already have learned a number of things which will definitely help, the handheld-at-slow-shutter-speed tips particularly. Also liked the sepia trick. I convert many of my pics to sepia (love it!) and have been using the Channel Mixer mostly, but this looks easy and quick.

Excellent tips…thanks for writing these up.

I’ve always found myself pushing the shutter button with the index finger not realizing that might be causing some shake/movement.
