One of my biggest joys in hosting The Discerning Photographer blog is the fun and surprise that I get when members of our associated Flickr pool add new photos to the group and they pop in to the right rail of this page! I find it really fun to see what members have chosen to upload to our still-small-but-growing group. When I click on the site and find new photos, each one is like a present ready to be unwrapped. I guess it’s a feeling of fresh discovery.
I especially enjoy how international our group of photographers is! This is truly impressive. We have shooters from, among other countries, the U.S., China, Spain, Great Britain, France and more….fantastic!
Below are some of my favorite images from the current pool. If you click the image open, you’ll see my thoughts about why I liked that photograph and chose to highlight it, as well as a link back to the photographer’s original Flickr page, where you can view more work of that shooter.
Please don’t get discouraged if none of your photos were selected–keep submitting, we’ll do this again in a bit.
Keep photographing, and keep uploading!
