My wife and I are taking the Youngest Daughter on a college-hunting safari…sort of like a photo safari but with a lot of backwards-walking tour guides along for the ride. We’ve exited the (BP) oily, swampy climes of our home state and are meandering up in an East Coast direction with several stops planned along the way. We’re driving, and the first real stop is Washington, D.C., where she’ll visit Georgetown and American University.
Of course I’m shooting pictures on this trip. What else do photographers do? I’ll blog sporadically, whenever I find the images (or thoughts) are worth sticking up on the site.
Getting this far has been nasty! Yesterday, up through the Shenandoah Valley of western Virginia, it rained the whole way. Today we become urbanites though and I’m excited to see what the day brings!
